The Jizera Mountains are the northernmost mountain range in the Czech Republic. Their eastern part extends into Poland, where they merge with the Krkonoše Mountains. The Jizera Mountains attract visitors all year round – hikers, cyclists, and families who come for discovery, relaxation, and fun. In summer, you can enjoy a wide range of cultural and sports activities, such as visiting Frýdlant Castle, Libverda Spa, the Jizerka mountain village, or the famous lookout towers Štěpánka and Královka, among many others.
In the immediate surroundings, you’ll find mini golf, tennis courts, a city stadium, and a network of hiking and cycling trails leading into the Jizera and Krkonoše Mountains.
